 The Successes of Elon Musk's Life

As part of the work we do, we were asked to research a person who is a reference in the field of technology and write a chronicle about them. We chose the chronicle of Elon Musk because he is the most famous of the characters we chose to work with. Here is his story.

Elon Musk was born at Pretoria, South Africa. He is an entrepreneur and visionary, who cofounded an online financial services company, nowadays known by PayPal, he formed the company SpaceX and he was a first significant investors of Tesla, a manufacturer company of electrics cars. Also, he bought the social network Twitter on 2022. These are his most important projects

In his early life, Musk was a child very intelligence, he displayed talent for computers and entrepreneurship, given he created a video game when he was 12 years old and sold it a computer magazine. In 1988, he moved to North American motivated by greater economic opportunities available in the United States.

In1997, he received bachelor´s degrees in physics and economics in the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He didn’t finish graduate school in physics because he thought the internet had more potential to transform society. I think he was right and the following fact so prove it.

Two years before graduation, he founded a company with the name Zip2, that provided maps for online newspaper. Four years later, he sold it for $307 million and then founded X.com, which later became Paypal. In 2002, this was bought by Ebay for $1.5 billion. In my opinion, that was one of his best deals. In the same year, he founded Space Exploration technologies (SpaceX) in order to make more affordable rockets. Since, the company has done some launch test and nowadays is involved in Artemis space program. Musk is not only an investor, but also, he is a chief designer in building rockets.

In 2004, he became in one of the major funders or Tesla, two years later, the company introduced his first electric car. Since, Tesla has developed many cars and has won many prices.

Finally, in September 2022, Musk bought the social network Twitter. According to his thoughts, this will have new features making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans. In the last months, Twitter is transforming itself, change his name and logo, becoming in X, a new social network.
